TINY ART FOR CHINATOWN

In March 2021, in light of increased violence and discrimination towards AAPI communities (which still continues today), I wanted to use my art to contribute in a more impactful way than I could if I just donated by myself. I started a fundraiser in which I offered to send a mini painting to anyone who donated to Welcome to Chinatown, a nonprofit that supports the local businesses and the greater community in Manhattan’s Chinatown. The outpouring of generosity overwhelmed me in the best way, and a good friend was even able to get her company to triple our donations! I also discovered I love making tiny paintings! Below is a collection of the pieces I made for the wonderful humans who donated.
